I would definitely have all your settings checked. Did you buy new or used? There are a lot of in camera settings to check.

My home owners policy will cover anywhere and anyhow, but you can't be professional. You can have a hobby but never get paid.

I think both are great, but if you like a camera that shoots quick, shoots in low light, I would get the D3s. It is very pricey compared to the D700 and the rumor is that they will beef up the 700. If you are not in a rush, I would wait a bit and see what 2011 brings to the table.
