Newbie to Video - Nikon Z6 ii

Thank you so much for this! Honestly, this is really helpful and I really appreciate it. I’ve already learned soo much from reading this and you’ve given me lots to think about to get started! One thing if I may, that I’m still a little confused about is colour and post colour grading? Like...

Newbie to Video - Nikon Z6 ii

Hello, video is something I’ve never really got into before, however now I have the Nikon Z6 II, I’d like to have a go. At this stage I don’t think shooting RAW & having to colour grade in post is the best place to start, so I wondered if any one could advise on the best settings that would...

Is LR really the best option? - Basic RAW processing software

Hiya, yep I’m definitely going to go with one of the Adobe Lightroom’s. After looking at all the other options, I keep coming back to the fact that Adobe has all the features I want even for simply RAW processing. But is also very cost affective, for what you get. Still not 100% sure between...

Is LR really the best option? - Basic RAW processing software

Yeah it is one I considered. Does it have any form of noise reduction software built in?

Is LR really the best option? - Basic RAW processing software

Thank you for the heads up. Something to consider. But I’ll be honest for me speed isn’t a huge factor :)

    Nikon Z* mirrorless

Oh perfect! That’s exactly what i had in mind. As I say once home I leave the lens attached still, but it sits on my desk and then once I’m at a destination, most of the time I take it out the bag and carry around my neck/shoulder on the strap.

    Nikon Z* mirrorless

Ah yes, in fact I think I’ve previously had a Tenba case. Knowing now that carrying the camera with lens attached on its side is safe and okay, it has made me look at more options :)

Is LR really the best option? - Basic RAW processing software

Yeah I’ve been reading quite a bit about LrC’s new AI features. I particularly like the sound of the NR being in the same program.

Is LR really the best option? - Basic RAW processing software

Ahah :) I think after looking at lots of different options this week and considering lots of things I do come back to Lr Classic. I’m familiar and it’s just clean and can be as simple or as complex as you need. Also as well as deals like you say I also personally don’t think £10 a month for...

    Nikon Z* mirrorless

That’s a nice case! And brilliant it works well with the same set up + being sideways :) One question - do you put anything under the side of the lens? Like to fill the gap between the lens and the bottoms of the bag, when it’s attached to the camera sideways?
