i used to shoot video on 600d (same as 550d nearly) and it was good, i would recommend, then jump to a 5d when you can after that body. manual focus all the time for dslr, try to keep in infinity range for most of your shots if possible, other than that its all finger work and trying to stay...

always used backpacks, but now its just too much and the straps are showing signs of weakness. I get a few Europe bookings which i normally drive over to, but as im getting them every month now i am going to fly more...so a Pelican 1510 is on order soon... :-)

interesting read here, i have recently got myself the Tascam DR-40, just started using it, and with that i can plug into mixing desk via xlr or jacks, and if i want i can also use the built in mics to record separately the atmosphere. and to cover all bases i chuck an ext mic on the 5D3. Keep...
