I've decided I'm going to look for a camera that has a screen bigger than 1.8 inch because I've decided view finders and I don't get along! Maybe I should wait until I find a decent priced 350/400d or equivalent. thanks for everyone's input

Cool, no point spending £200 if I'll just end up regretting it. so a 300d is a maybe if a good supplier - and 350d/400d if I bite the bullet or hunt for a good deal. Just one question, I wonder when the next generation is coming out? It seems it was 300d->350d->400d, all roughly the same price...

Hi, I'm looking to upgrade to an slr, hoping now's the time to jump in. I'd love to get the best, but really I just want the best value for money, something that won't depreciate too much so when I can afford, I'll upgrade. Have people had many problems with second hand cameras...
