I was lucky enough to learn my trade – architectural photography – early in life, back in the era of film under the tutelage of my father, who is one of Brazil’s best known photographers. In addition to this, my mother was a prominent architect so in a sense, my destiny was probably set at birth.
Assisting my father throughout my teenage years on a myriad of industrial projects for brands like Ford, Petrobras, DuPont, Sika and many others, I eventually developed an appetite for shooting architecture and interiors, a passion which ultimately led me to London with a singular intention: to honour the extraordinary through my work.
My approach is definitely old school, erring on the side of perfectionism, but I was raised to be extremely meticulous and fastidious with respect to the final output, that means, doing exhaustive homework in preparation, visiting a site multiple times before shooting begins and getting the composition on site rather than leaning heavily on Photoshop.
I suppose you could say my signature style is clean and crisp, and it follows that most of my clients tend to be businesses operating on a similar premise to me, those placing a premium on high end, timeless quality and strict attention to detail. I help Savills, for example, showcase their top suite of properties to make sure potential buyers grasp the quality on first glance.
I’m equally happy working on commercial or residential projects and have photographed many iconic structures, from Madame Tussauds, to the Barbican to La Défense in Paris. Other of my clients include Derwent London, Latitude Investments and Prestbury Investment Holdings, if you’d like to see what I’ve done for them, you can view my portfolio accessing my website.
Please feel free to get in touch either here on via my website.
