Update on this - the lens has just been returned to me, the zoom ring was fixed free of charge as the lens is still under warranty. Just a tad over a week turn over since they have received the lens, which I think is very acceptable. They also included new front and rear lens caps (they ask not...

Yea mine is just with them now, I sent it over in the original box and plenty of bubble wrap. It's been delivered on friday last week but they've only updated the tracking page on Monday, let's see how long it will take from now. I'm hoping I won't have to pay as the lens is still under warranty...

Yea I did some googling and I've seen other people mentioning the same, but for me they just sent an email with the below, so maybe they changed their policy?

Yea I do have the original box so that does make sense, I just hope they then send it back in the original box as well as I really didn't want to not have that.

I have an issue with my 16-55mm mk2 lens, there seems to be some sort of dust particle jamming the zoom mechanism and it either goes from 16mm to only around 45mm or it goes all the way from 55mm down to like 19mm. Anyone had any similar issue before? I haven't really used this lens in...

A few motorsport photos over the last couple of pages so thought I'd share some I took at the Silverstone GP a few months ago. More here

I've tried this a few months ago and haven't looked back, it's always what I shoot with, looks pretty good. The only change I do is I remove the grain as I prefer to add it in post if necessary.

I have it. I also have the 23mm f2 and the 35mm f2. The 50mm f2 is the one I use the least out of the 3, but I think it's just due to what I usually shoot most of the times (it's a bit too tight for street for me). But it's very capable, AF is fast and it's very sharp. It's also tiny so easy...

Definitely some setting you probably have that's messing it up. The same IQ menu in mine shows Fine, Normal, Fine+Raw, Normal+Raw and Raw. What is your drive dial set to? The dial within the ISO dial. If I set mine to "ADV" the "Raw" disappears from said menu. Make sure your drive dial is set...

Maybe try to do a reset on the camera to factory settings to make sure there is no setting affecting it? Are you on the latest firmware?

Interesting - I'm using these cards (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09X7FXHVJ/), and have no issues with clarity set to 0. The cards seems the same that you mentioned?

Do you get a screen with "Storing" for a couple of seconds? If so that's more likely you having any setting in "Clarity" other than 0. Clarity processing is very processor heavy so takes a long time to process. I just use clarity 0 on all my recipes.

I'd probably spend it on a nice lens instead. What are you missing in your X-T4 that the X-T5 would give you? Disclaimer - I own an X-T5
