Just thinking about getting one of these. The swan looks ok. Could possibly be sharper but I don't know what sort of image you get without the TC. The cricket seems to be really noisy. High ISO?

I use jetphoto on my mac. Resizes and watermarks.

I'm also looking for a noise remover but I think neat image is a bit expensive personally. Is there any alternatives that people use?

I've got the eye fi mobile x2 card and it works very well with my ipad. No hot spot or other wifi network needed. The card sets up it's own and you have to just connect the ipad to it then open shutter snitch and it starts transfering images. I had some headaches to start with but I'm using...

Have you thought about a D300s? I went fro a D80 to a D300 and the difference in image quality and useability of the camera is chalk and cheese.

It's just nice to know that with the best technology the world has they can accurately say where it will land. Somewhere between 57north and 57south. At least that's narrowed it down to 2/3rds of the populated planet.
