Yeah, I seem to recall the lighting being pretty awful there from a few years ago, bit of trial and error will hopefully get the desired results though. If you spot someone snapping like crazy with a nifty fifty attached to their camera then the chances are its me :D

cheers, will be nice to get some better pics, last time I went was with a £100 compact camera and the pics were rubbish so this should be an improvement at least :)

oh both will be coming with me, was more thinking which lens would I be using most so as to keep that one on the body and swapping only when required. Also got the top gear show from Hammond, Clarkson and May so hopefully get some decent pics of their antics too :)

thought the nifty would be a good bet, not really much need for zooming in and out, only thing now is to work out how to shift the rest of the annoying public out of the way cheers :)

I'm heading the the MPH motor show at the weekend and hoping to get some good shots of the many cars that will be on show there. My main worry though is that all of these cars will be polished to within an inch of their lives and be sat under the glare of a shed load of flourescent lights! So...

by who? i have it and i've been extremeley impressed with it, certainly glad I got it instead of the iPhone. The OS is extremely well put together and works nice and fluidly, its got all the bells and whistles you expect from a current generation of mobile, its nice looking, very easy to use...

full frame could be an option in the future, i've been using the camera more and more lately and upgarding the body is something i have toyed with...... can I take this on another tangent then potentially! I suppose the crux of all of this is that I want a new lens, but i'm probably not...
