    Best Lens for Food Photography?

Hi Matt, I'm in the process of editing a few more which are not so tightly framed. These images will be going on the new menu and therefore I felt it would be important for the 'Main item of food' to be fairly prominent in the frame with the salad and side of wedges in lesser-focus. However, I...

    Best Lens for Food Photography?

Thanks to everyone for their input! I decided in the end to go for the 50mm f/1.4 :) Here are a couple of examples from this afternoon. The weather played ball for an hour or so but then started raining :( Will be hoping for some sunshine tomorrow to finish off the last few dishes.

    Best Lens for Food Photography?

Would the nifty-fifty be suffice? It's going to cost me ~£45 to hire a 50mm f1.2, so for the sake of an extra £30 I could keep the nifty-fifty in my bag!

I have been reading into the art of food photography and the emphasis has very...

    Panamoz Bacs??

Used Panamoz BACS for a 70D and also a Canon 70-300L, and they have been nothing short of superb. Better service and delivery times than some UK dealers.

    Just brought the 17-85 Again...

Hi all, Just managed to pick up a Mint 17-85 F/4-5.6 IS for very cheap. I always remember it being pin sharp and a great walk about lens when I had my 40D a few years ago.. What's your opinions on it, and any pictures to share?

    The beer can project....

Looks like a good project to start, but certainly a hard one! Something that's stuck in my mind as a good idea regarding this project, is maybe having droplets of water on the can which is sat in a puddle of water with some half melted ice around? As if the puddle was made from a stack of ice...
