My D90's nearly always had - .3 or .7 on the EV since I bought it. Not really a problem, it just annoys my friend with a D200 who can't take any shots without good light! :D

That's for sure it took about 3 weeks continuous 24hr upload for the first lot :lol: living in the sticks doesn't help Still, I'd have to drag the PC with me every time I went out otherwise :thinking:

Guys, don't forget to think about things like a fire :(. Coming from an IT background, no back-up is serious unless it includes an off-site backup of the data too :thumbs: I think I pay about US$50/yr for an automatic on-line backup, about 50Gb by now.

Now that seems like a good deal (for you!)! The OH is already raising an eyebrow about the gear so I think I'm gong to have to keep things under the radar for a while - don't think the Sigmonster would count as under the radar :lol:

Yeah this was pretty much the decision I was coming too as I wrote out the post. Well, they're saying they effectively drop-shipped the lens, and simply gave the condition given to them, and they didn't see it at all.

Hi Guys, FP, BTW, so hi! Been lurking for a while. Bought (£550) a 2nd-hand 50-500mm a few days back from a business, which was advertised as 'excellent, 'no issues' yadda yadda. Anywho, on arrival, it's certainly not 'excellent'. There's a few scuffs on the tripod mount and the body...
