The card just says SD MLC Memory Card 2GB, i suspect it may be this. I have set the image quality to low but no change.

I can take another one, but its only allowing me to take at a rate of about one every 3 seconds :(

Yes its set to C, Its only a 2gb card so maybe i need a bigger card.

My first DSLR arrived today, so im just playing with it :) Its a Nikon D50, i have set it to continuous shooting mode but its taking a shot and then pausing. im a bit confused to why this is???

Im about to buy my first digital slr and have a limited budget. Ive discovered that ebay is the best option for getting a bargain but i am aware there is a risk to this.... Im thinking of bidding for an Olympus E-410. Feeling a little nervous about bidding...

Thanks everyone for replies, lots to think about. Been looking on ebay for Nikon D40, D50, D70, Canon 20D and Olympus E510. Correct me if im wrong but the E510 is the only one with image stabilisation. How important is this???

Hi, Ive been interested in photography for years but never owned a digital SLR so im taking the plunge. I only have £200ish to spend :( The Nikon D40 has been recommended, any other ideas?? Looking forward to using the forums and being inspired!
