I see that you are 17 and guess that you are applying for a college course, or similar. I agree that looking at how other photographers would approach the task is useful and all part of the learning curve, but at your age the interviewers will not expect you to have fund your photographic...
D'oh - only just found this - I was wondering what had happened to it! I've just watched it through twice and am in awe at the variety of shots. Thanks so much Yv for all your hard work. :)
It's ages since I've posted any pics on here - my mojo took a long holiday - but it's time I picked up my camera again and tried to remember which way to point it - so I'm in. Eek - I'd better start thinking.
Well done on getting a shot John. I hadn't thought about Reflection in that way - I looked at your shot and tried to work out where the mirror was! Do'h :bonk:
It fits the bill, but it would have been better with more of a 'pose' I think. But I can't criticise - you're up to date...
Miss C - you don't make things easy for yourself!!! Reflections is a difficult theme anyway, and tackling your lensbaby at the same time - well you deserve a medal. Well done. I like the B&W conversions. Have you cropped it, because it would be good to have the tip of the pan handle in shot...
Thanks Dade! It wasn't possible to get a shot of this car without people in it - they were everywhere, so the best option was to get reflections of them.
I'm a bit behind with my 52 at the moment - sometimes life gets in the way of photography!!! I'm hoping to start the catch up this...
Win: Ian I love this! I didn't see the original more saturated version, but this is spot on. I did spot the winning line (you get canny when you play this with a strategic-thinking determined-to-win 7 year old!!) and like that it's not the obvious up-down orientation, which I think would...
Hands: Totally agree with John - crisp, sharp, clear. The sort of 'on the move' that's hard to get this good.
Well done from me! :clap::clap::clap:
Jean
Well spotted - and a good interpretation of the theme, Miss C.
I assumed the verticals were due to the angle, so unless you had a handy cherrypicker (or a tilt-shift lens!) there wasn't much you could do.
Well done and  from me!
John - yes, I think it was Minstrels...
Hands: Well done, John. I really like this - the positioning's good and the pp works a treat. Very hard to take the shot with the other hand, too.
I haven't shot mine yet, but I know what I'm going to do. I'm so behind atm, I thought I'd better keep up with comments! :)
Jean
Jill, I did notice you'd resorted to one you'd made earlier, too, but I wasn't going to mention it!!!!!!! :p At least you have an excuse with your Workshop and Exhibition coming up. :)
Thanks for the comments.
Jean
