    would d90 suit a newbie?

I bought my first dslr a few weeks ago and that was the D90! I absolutely love it :) I much preferred the feel of it to the smaller D40 and I wanted something that would last me longer before I wanted to upgrade. Unfortunately I have exams at the moment though so playing with it is on hold :( ...

    Bought my first DSLR

I have a 8GB and then a 4GB as a backup, but 2 4GBs would do the job too. Just depends how often you're going to upload photos to the computer. Oh and I shoot in RAW+JPEG :)

    Bought my first DSLR

I bought the Kingston Class 6 8GB SDHC for £11.99 inc p&p from this site a couple of weeks ago: http://www.blahdvd.com/Hw/Kingston-Flash-memory-card-8-GB-Class-6-SDHC-SD6-8GB/SD6_8GB/product.htm to use in my Nikon D90 shooting RAW. Had never used the site before but had absolutely no problems -...

Lens Case for Nikon 70-300mm VR?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a protective lens case that will fit the Nikon 70-300mm VR with it's lens hood inverted? I have looked at some of the Lowepro, Tamrac and Hama offerings but I want the best possible snug fit and wondered if anyone actually has anything which does the job...

    Toploader bag recommendations?

I've just ordered a Toploader TLZ AW £41.71 (inc p&p) from Warehouse Express which I thought was great value as jessops are selling them for £59!

    1st digital slr q?

I just got my first d-slr a few weeks ago. My dad has the Canon 450D so I tried that out, but I went with a Nikon (the D90) in the end. Nikon have the D60, which is a good entry level d-slr but I'd say is slightly below the Canon 450D, and then the next Nikon up is the D90, with movie mode...

    Toploader bag recommendations?

Fair point - sorry! If you could tell me what you've got that would be great - only want something that is a good fit for just the camera and lens.

    Toploader bag recommendations?

I'm after one of the toploading triangular-style bags which will fit my Nikon D90 with 70-300mm VR lens attached. Was looking at something like the Lowepro Topload Zoom 2, as don't want anything too bulky or expensive. And ideally something which doesn't shout "steal me" so the less branding the...

    No warranty card in box

I'll be living in Vancouver, Canada, for 9 months from September. If I had problems with the lens out there does anyone know if it would it have to be sent back to the UK to be covered by warranty? Or would I be able to get it sorted in the US/Canada for free? I realise I'm probably being abit...

    No warranty card in box

Well that makes me feel much better! I was really worried I'd been lumped with a lens without any warranty! Now I can go and enjoy playing with the new toy :)

Yeah the invoice has a VAT Reg no, Tax date and VAT breakdown. Will Nikon UK really provide warranty on a US model? I'm surprised by that!
