sorry didnt explain the first post properly but its stuck in af whats the chances of something being behind the ring to stop it pulling back? edited now

It's proper shafted :( The lens is stuck in af so the problem is it wont let me manually focus at all. The focus ring will spin and spin but the lens doesn't move or focus. Is this a common problem with this lens? Also, has anyone had any problems with returning things to Sigma? Long delays...
