Having to do it a little more on a budget this time. May end up back with a better body but gonna start with a 450D I'm buying from here. I was always of the opinion that the glass was most important anyway ;)
Funnily enough I've been looking at the same thing. Sold my 5d and all my lenses a year or so ago to switch to a compact but getting the itch again. I got pretty good results with the Sigma 105mm f2.8 back then but the mp-e and the mt24-ex looks tempting.
I'm not keen on the way the title is split up. Also any chance you can do the page dynamically so it uses the whole of my screen and not just the middle bit?
I've seen some good reults with the 350/400D and a sigma 70-210mm f2.8 mated with the sigma 1.4x teleconvertor. Looking at used prices on the bay I reckon you could pick up that combo for;
400d = £290
sigma 70-210mm = £200
1.4x tele = £70
total = £560.
Just make sure that the Sigma...
Most cards from no-name suppliers I have seen are Toshiba I think. If you have a look at the ends of the card you will ofetn see a serial number. Many of these start with TOSH.....
I'd second the lowepro. May be worth looking for the AW variant (All Weather) if you're out and about in the Rain.
If you do lots of photography close to the ground or in muddy conditions the Benbo Trekker tripod is well worth a look too.
