Hi everyone
I am looking for a street/documentary camera/lens set up with both of 35mm and 50mm lenses (or the 35mm equiv on crop)
I have around 400 pounds.
Thanks
J
Yes, it's natural lighting mostly. Not studio but outdoors and events are festivals and concerts. Of course the concerts can be indoors but I guess that's where high ISO fast lens comes in rather than speedlight (?)
Hi all
What would you recommend as a set up for a portrait/event photographer... camera bodies, lenses and anything else. Budget is 3000 GBP. Nikon preferred :) Cheers!
Hi all
So right now I have a 28, 50 and 85. I have a sad old D90. Unfortunately my second D7000 was stolen along with a Sigma 17-50 2.8 lens. That's about 700 euro gone. :( Anyway... I have a crop body and think I will always have one. I plan to get a D7100. They look great and nice price now...
I have two lenses with the same filter thread: 52 mm. one is is 28 and the other 50.
I need a lens hood for them. One that would do both is fine. I don't want/need the original hoods that are designed for them. I wonder if those rubber ones are OK or rubbish? Thanks
Hi everyone
I have a few primes now and they are great but I feel the need for a zoom for versatility. Somewhere in the region of 24mm-80mm. Could you recommend me some good native Nikon or third-party lenses?
Maybe there is something older that is decent. Still AF lens though :) I am going...
Hi all
So I'd like advice on my first full frame camera. Let me give you some info to help....
I have a lot of experience with Nikon and like Nikon. I loved the D7000 when I had it.
I currently have two Nikon lenses. A 50 1.8 and an 85 1.8. Sadly the latter is faulty but still of some use...
I have used a D7000 for 5 years and never seen this with any lens and I have used about 4 or 5 different lenses. I would be surprised how it is technique. I am not doing anything differently. It doesn't add up. I used a D90 too and as I said both work perfectly with two other lenses I have.
I...
I tested again where there is one object and nothing anywhere near it or behind it for 20 metres or so and it focuses seemingly on nowhere. probably again beyond the point it confirms. very odd. looking back through the pictures i took, 90 percent of them are focusing a certain distance beyond...
hm.. I have used two different cameras and different lenses. My Sigma gets the focus almost every time. The 85 focuses beyond the subject almost every time. On both cameras. I will try what you said though.
