Do you need to use exposure compensation if shooting in Manual? I imagine not as you can set your own apeture and sutter speed. Am I correct?

Canon EF 70-300mm f4-5.6 IS USM. This was my first upgrade from the kit lens on my 400d. I also have the 50mm 1.8 too.

I do no PP to anything I take and am begining to get frustrated with my results. I am looking to do some minor adjustments to the pictures I take to make the most of them but have no idea where to start. How did you beging to play with your pictures and where did you learn more and more?

Got you. I have looked everywhere and no one seems to have a Lee Big Stopper in stick. I guess they're pretty much made to order?

Does it matter if it is square or not? I understand the size would bedifferent and a circular one would have to fir the lens but apart from that?

I was looking at long exposure shots and like the look of the Lee Big Stopper. Having done some research I have seen they are not widely available due to them being hand made and the demand the company have. Is there an alternative which some recommended?
