Yeah familiar with Lightroom and Photoshop as used them on the windows machine. It's the keyboard shortcodes and how files work that I am trying to get my head around. On my windows machine I kept all my pictures on the 'pictures' folder but I can't find it on the Mac so not sure where to drop them

Just managed to do this via using my iPhone as a hotspot and connect my laptop to the phone and the 6d to the phone via the Laptop EOS utility option on the 6D

That's what I thought from looking on the net but wanted to check there was no hiden secret way to do it. Can't see why they haven't made it available on the 6D as its a simple but helpful thing when shooting with more than 1 camera

Is it correct that I can't rename the first few characters of the filename? Can do this on my 7D but can't find it anywhere on the menu on the 6D.

Her full name is Lucy Elizabeth Mee. She just had her first bath (wasn't too impressed at that) and is now settled down.

I managed to get my laptop to pic the 6d up when I was disconnected from wifi but it was asking for encryption code which I couldn't find or guess.
