    Panny 14-42PZ reliability

Thanks - Doesn't look like a common problem so it was probably just down to luck. Great little lens and a winner with its compactness. James

    Panny 14-42PZ reliability

Just wondering if anyone else has had issues with this lens. I really enjoyed using it on my E-M5. Small form factor and decent IQ made this my standard walkabout lens. Unfortunately after 3 months it stuck whilst extended. Amazon offered a refund with no quibbles and i've not replaced it yet...

The Panny 100-300 is a cracking lens - i'm very pleased with mine. 600mm reach from something so small and light is amazing and it's nice and sharp too. James

Nice work Julian. Love the scale the house brings in the third shot. Looks like you had cracking weather. James

Good news. Amazon will refund me on my failed 14-42PZ. I'll probably replace it with the same as it's a very compact lens for general use.

Just catching up with the latest posts on the thread. The new EM1 looks good, nicely addressing some of the shortcomings of the EM5. Still loving my EM5 though - it's been a real pleasure using this on holiday. Unfortunately i can't say the same for my little Panasonic 14-42PZ which after 2...

Screen protector for a Sony RX100

I use the Swido protectors on both of my cameras. They work really well and are durable and easy to apply. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008HP4Q82/ref=oh_details_o08_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 James

My 100-300 arrived today. Well built for the price, very small for its reach and balances nicely on the OMD. I was a bit concerned over sample variations but mine seems to be a good one - a couple of quick shots in the garden this evening produced some very pleasing results. Looking forward to...

Good man. Two of my old Nikon lenses went this weekend. Just the 18-200 to go now. I'm really enjoying the OMD and what a versatile system it is. My OMD with a 14-42PZ and an Oly 40-150R fits in a very small camera bag. Just ordered the Panasonic 100-300 to complete my kit. James
