RescuePro software - anyone use it?

Yeah it works just fine, but they do pester for years to get you to upgrade/renew as the 'give away' software with the more expensive cameras is usually time limited to a year of so. Luckily I have not needed to recover anything for about seven years now and there are plenty of free options to...

Nikon PC-E Perspective correction / tilt shift lens - which one is best?

I do architectural all the time and I would suggest you need the 24mm. Buildings are big things and you generally cant get far enough back!

    Conveyancing service recommendations?

A condition survey is an ultra economy report. Tells you little more than a good mortgage valuation.

    Conveyancing service recommendations?

A homebuyers is an 'economy survey', even the RICS acknowledge this and it is their product. The level of information is no way the same or it should not be on the same level or depth. You are correct that generally the older or more non standard the property then the more a BS is the correct...

Beginner Am I wrong to use Auto mode?

I have to say you have taken some cracking shots so don't fret about being on 'auto' just at the moment. An example of where auto gets it slightly wrong however is of the owl standing in the snow, as the camera doesn't allow a correct exposure of the largely white scene and all cameras just...

    Conveyancing service recommendations?

I would definitely avoid 'conveyancing factories'. They work on high volume (The banks pay them around £50-70 per job, the rest is admin fees for the bank, just be aware that is also the level of service you will get) and a local outfit are likely to be much more knowledgeable about local things...

Beginner Struggling to take pictures of the moon :(

On a Manfrotto and other quality gear, it is sometimes possible to upgrade the head alone. Check the design weights before buying and try one in a shop. If you do go up to a heavier camera, then bear in mind such costs.

Beginner Struggling to take pictures of the moon :(

Whilst I might not disagree with your assessment of the tripod, without knowing the amount of funds available, its a bit harsh to make such a judgement. It would of course have been better to come here and gain recommendations before buying, but we all have to start somewhere. It may be...
