Thanks guys, I think I'll stick the kit on. The 18-200 is a great allrounder but just a bit bulky and weighs a fair bit too!
Just wanted something nice and light.
Cheers
Going to Amsterdam with a few friends and wondering if I will be OK with just a 50mm 1.8 lens. I'm going to be taking a few people shots and also pics around the Xmas markets etc.
Do you think I will be too restricted with just the 50mm? I'm on Crop Sensor too so thinking it may be too long...
What do people think?
I have got the budget to upgrade to D7100 or should I go for a better lens?
I currently have
18-55 kit
50mm 1.8
18-200 VR1
70-300 Tamron
My usual photography is a bit of kids rugby but mainly travel photography plus a little bit of family holiday snaps...
11 and 12 year olds have iPad Mini as they say its well better than the full size iPad!!! 16GB is enough for them!
I have an Asus Transformer on Android but they say its rubbish!!!!!
I think my problem is, I look at an image and dont know how to improve it. Does that make sense?
Even when I look at some photos that have been sharpened, to me they look the same!!!
Maybe my eyes are bad!!!!
Can anyone recommend either a good online course or somewhere in Manchester areas that does Photoshop training.
I have tried with books etc but need someone to show me!
Anyone??
I was going to say take a Gorillapod SLR, mine was invaluable when I was there.
I am off to NYC next week and its the first thing I will put in my bag!
I also took an 18-200 as a walkabout lens which saved changing lens all the time.
Humidity is the worst thing especially when in and out of...
It the warranty is US only, I guess that makes it pretty much worthless, may have to stick with UK then and pay a bit more.
I did consider import duty etc
