I have to say on both my visits I have received absolutely terrible service I went in today to have a look at some Leica lenses and give the place another try after my initial poor experience. And I have never had someone be so rude in a shop. I was trying to ask what they had in and prices and...
yea the good thing with trent bridge is that its quite a small ground, what other options would there be if i wanted to go longer would the 120-300mm with a tc be the best bet?
I'm aware that I'm not going to get the best lens for the money but i want something that i can grow into I'm...
hey everyone,
the new season is on the way and i'm looking at getting a lens for shooting sports in particular cricket, the focal length ill need is something that is concerning me slightly, i'm aware it need's to be long 300mm+ (on a 50d) but i'm struggling with the potential choices. the...
okay well that gives me a good view on things then, i think i may investigate some longer options some of the 500mm end of things maybe just for that extra reach.
cheers
ah okay mine will mainly be used at trent bridge again not a small ground but from right on the boundary pretty much, do you find 400mm enough or would you prefer it longer?
cheers this is a real help
well the logic behind that is i was looking at getting one for ice hockey and other sports were 200mm would be enough and f2.8 would be an advantage if that makes sense, i have started to think about a few other options like the 120-400mm sigma's instead. but still the main question is will that...
hey, looking to get a lens for cricket and other sports next season, i took this last year but its heavily cropped just showing it to get an idea of the field of view i want really, was about 80-90m away. ill be shooting on a canon 50d would 400mm do it,as i'm thinking of getting a 70-200 so i...
i would look at portfolios and then how you put them in wallets are a good place to start, i wouldn't use a photo album to be honest for the simple reason that it will be inflexible in the future. your portfolio is something that evolves over time things get taken out and put it. also take your...
Yea i was thinking maybe either the canon 35mm or 28mm as i feel 50mm is too long for the things i shoot. I think that would have to come after the tele and the macro as they are currently stopping taking pics that i want. but would you recommend that first?
cheers
Hi guys,
I've got a 50d and the standard 17-85mm kit lens on it, i'm looking to expand the range of lenses that i own over the next few months, i have quite a broad range of interests and like to shoot a variety of stuff such as sports (my current lack of a long lens is holding me back here)...
