well that's why the image makes the lens look poor

I have a 60d and it's my backup from the mark ii. It's ok but would def need to upgrade to ff soon as the noise from the sensor is noticeable against ff. I love the flip out lens and use it if i can't be bothered to lye down on my front. Here's a shot I took recently with it and using the flip...

The mouse/rodent in that image previously is great. Truth is with the first pic you posted it's not a very inspiring as it's a little challenging on the eyes.

5d mark ii is great but I would also think about the 6d

I use the UV filters to save my lenses from getting scratched and damaged. I decent Hoya 77mm is about £100

I agree with Brachytron. I had a 30d about 10 years ago now and i wish I still had it. It was so good. I only upgraded as the sensor went all weird on me. It was 8mp but was amazing for the internet and even blowing pics up..... solid body, nice weight, sexy sexy camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had my shutter/sensor/whatever canon thought was wrong with it repaired and they would not give me the shutter count. I said "well i'm your customer and i'm paying you £350 to fix it so can I have it" and they refused!!!! crazy. It's probably very high i expect

I have a 'Jessops' circ polariser and its sick! Only use it when you need to improve contrast eg for deep blue skies or water scenes etc. or just to beef up the clouds and colours. UV filter should be on all the time though ;) This was taken with a polariser. I have a 'Jessops' circ...

50mm anytime for me but you could always buy another!
