It's easy to forget to leave go of the shutter button. I was playing with 30fps on the Z9 and forgot to switch back to 15fps for the rugby. Got home and started downloading the shots and wondered why it was taking so long. Instead of 300-350 shots I had 1265 shots. Watch that shutter finger.
Jeff, The Z6iii is a great camera if you're looking for a light compact camera. It had all the detection modes i.e. birds humans and the AF is way ahead of the Z6ii. I have the Z6iii as my second body. In my opinion highly recommended.
I got the 28-400 and keep it on my Z6iii as a lightweight walk around lens. I have read that some people find it soft but mine is sharp even wide open. A good copy I guess.
An ex Canon tec told me to always do the firmware updates because it's not what they tell you it will update, it's what in there that they don't tell you about.
