If it finished the download but the update never applied successfully and it keeps giving an error, try doing the update with no other USB devices plugged in, and also plug the Apple cable directly into a USB port not a hub, i had all sorts of issues with mine to start with because of that !

fishing and hunting gear is worth looking into, as they are designed to be warm as you are sedentary (ie sitting about a lot) and are also muted colours, greens/camos etc. They also tend to rustle less when you do move, which can help if after a touchy subject.

What router is it ? is it WiFi B? G? or N ? are you using static or DHCP ip addressing ? Have you tried disabling AntiVirus ? and firewalls ? Connection speed will only ever work at the speed of the slowest device.
