Death of a loved one, and how to deal with it? [sensitive]

Sorry to hear of your loss. I can't begin to imagine what you and your family are going through, my thoughts are with you all at such a difficult time. I can only echo what others have said and allow yourself time to grieve and come to terms with with what has happened, be there for each other...

all nikon F mount cameras .. any Nikon with a D prefix

I seem to have a bit of an internal argument with myself at times trying to decide if my D7500 is good enough or should I go back to mirrorless, had a G80 and E-M1.3 and others in the past but this thread reminds me that A) what I have is more than enough for me and B) the price of some F mount...

    Organising your photos and videos

I think you need to pick what seems most logical to yourself and means your looking for something you can find it easily. I tend to go for a folders for what the occasion was, like a holiday, day out, etc. but then I do also have things like a transport, wildlife folders etc. I don't think they...

all nikon F mount cameras .. any Nikon with a D prefix

Here's a few from a recent woodland trip to hunt for Fungi. I was planning to do some woodland photography too but got side tracked with the fungi. All taken with a D7500 and the 85mm f.35 micro lens. I stupidly left the VR on for all the shots and also had no cable release so was using a 2...

all nikon F mount cameras .. any Nikon with a D prefix

A few taken over the weekend while in Prague, such a great city to visit. So much to photograph. Wasn't hard to find great composition's, worst bit would be the number of people about that stop you getting a clean shot. All taken on a Nikon D7500 with 16-85mm DX lens. All handheld with the night...

all nikon F mount cameras .. any Nikon with a D prefix

Recently picked up a D7500 and a couple of lenses. Went out last night after some rain had passed over and as the sun was setting. Made the mistake of moving away from the barn to a another location and 5 minutes later I could see it was bathed in sunshine. By the time I would of got back the...

    Olympus OM-D E-M5, E-M1, E-M10 - Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 Owners Thread

Here's a couple from me from the garden shot with an E-M1.3 and 40-150 f2.8. Struggled a bit with autofocus and what settings to use so if anyone has any advice for bugs etc I'd appreciate it. Hummingbird hawk-moth by Ian Diplock, on Flickr Red peacock butteryfly by Ian Diplock, on Flickr

    Cleaning cloths for camera gear.

I think I had one of those years ago. Tried to clean it in the washing machine but didn't do it any favours. Will have to get a new one I think. I can't remember where the kit came from but it was a company specialising in camera cleaning equipment. Hopefully it'll still be okay The last...

    Cleaning cloths for camera gear.

I'm after something to clean the lens front glass with. A microfibre cloth is probably what I am after. Just looking for recommendations of ones worth buying. I do have some sensor cleaning swabs and also fluid but I'm not sure if the fluid will be any good as I've had it a few years now.

    Cleaning cloths for camera gear.

Looking to treat my camera gear and buy some decent cleaning stuff. I have a rocket blower and some of the Zeiss style wet lens cleaning cloths as I am a glasses wearer. Just wondering if a dry cloth or two to keep in the bag would be a good idea and if so what cloths have people used and can...

    In a quandary

Looking forward to seeing how you get on. I always reminisce over my last Nikon a D7000. Always tempted to pick one up for about double what you've spent on a D300. There's something about a camera that seems simpler in operating terms that appeals to me.

    Olympus OM-D E-M5, E-M1, E-M10 - Mk1, Mk2 & Mk3 Owners Thread

Two from me taken at Brancaster Staithe yesterday. Starting to feel like I am getting to grips with the new to me E-M1 mark iii, had it since the start of the year with the 12-40 f2.8 pro and recently added the 40-150 f2.8 pro of which both these photos were taken with. Not really had much time...

The GAS confessional - all who suffer are welcome. :)

My gas is slowly receding, had a terrible amount the last six months. Tried three different cameras! Finally settled on something that's far far far more capable then I ever will be and produces images good enough for my needs.

Buyers remorse after purchasing camera equipment.

Seeing your post and realising what I've done, I've made myself groan! I've not got to that situation yet. I'm quite good at holding onto stuff.
