I have just watched the video posted above, didn't understand some of the numbers mentioned in it, but I take it from the levels of sarcasm and lada hat that the although the camera has nice images it is not all that practical to use. Tray271 must spend a lot of time in her hotel room charging...

Thank you for taking the time to reply, I will check that site out. I am also interested in how the Merill performs as a general out and about camera, so for example family shots on the beach so would be nice to see some examples of those as well.
