Just an update, got some contact cleaner (Kontakt 60), which seems to have done the job (so far). Only issue is despite being very careful, a tiny bit got on the mirror foam cushion, and seems to have killed its adhesive bond, so gonna get a new one of those when I get back! Ugh [emoji58]

Great picture George. Seeing the quality of the shots in this thread is really giving me the urge to switch from dslr (especially since mine is playing up).

I've being looking into this recently due to some writing on my property about my gf (sexy blonde etc). Was looking at the cameras that do it all (watch and record, remotely), but veering away from them now. Already have nest thermostat so was looking to but in to that, but really don't like...

That worked at first on the tamron 90mm, but not everytime. There just isn't any play on the Nikon 50mm or Tokina though. Also, the symptoms have shown a couple of times in the Tokina lens now, but that seems to right itself before long. Gonna try and find some electrical contact cleaner...

Pencil didn't work, not tried the rubber yet (yet to locate one). Honestly I think it's something more. After I left it for a couple of hours, it worked with the 50mm 1.8 for a couple shots, then back to not recognising it. Still works fine with the Tokina though. Might be time for a service...

Tried both, only have a cloth though. Searching online a lot of people rave about Deoxit, when I'm back in UK I'll see if I can source that. Nice name btw

It's basically just recognising them as non-CPU lens

Locked to 22 with is only one it can lock to. Unlocked, spun and re-locked the aperture numerous times, never made a difference.
