    Photos In SPACE

http://www.newser.com/story/84238/man-snaps-stunning-space-photos-using-balloon-duct-tape.html So this guy rigged up the capability to take photos of space (well 22 miles up) for very little money indeed. Clearly he is an awesome of the highest calibre, and I applaud him.

3 images to form 1 picture

But a panorama IS when a photo is all blended into one wider photo!

DSLR Video, is it a con?

But why make one without? The cost impact of making those two different models would be greater than the cost of making one camera that also handles video, surely? You don't want to use the video capability, that's your choice, but wanting one that doesn't handle video these days smacks of...

Am I the only one? Your or You're!

Sorry, to clarify, I meant text speak in the context of texts, Not in general use!

DSLR Video, is it a con?

Also, consider what Flickr calls video... a long photograph. As a description it brings up whole new ways to think about photography.

You have all these Canon lenses, which you know can give you completely different kinds of image - with added video capability you have the ability to apply the wonder of these lenses to moving pictures. Wish I could afford a 5DMkII - it would beat the crap out of my video camera.

    Honest Replies only...

I think the whole process is different thanks to digital photography, surely? With film (I'm guessing, I've never shot film in my LIFE) you can't see what you've done, so you have to know what will work. Digital photography removes that restriction, so the ability to produce fantastic photos is...

Am I the only one? Your or You're!

See to me, that's all backwards - txt spk is an adaptation to a medium with a limited amount of characters that can be transmitted, whereas bad grammar and spelling on a medium without limitations, and also a medium that can offer easy basic spellchecking... that's plain laziness.

Am I the only one? Your or You're!

Oh, and here's some info from the National Literacy Trust: http://www.literacytrust.org.uk/Database/stats/adultstats.html That shows that 16% of adults between the ages of 16-65 in the UK are only literate to the level expected of an 11 year old, and to me that's horrifying. I suppose when we...

Am I the only one? Your or You're!

So you're saying it's NOT good, but we should just accept it? Why would you accept something that's not good, when it's a problem that can be addressed? "thats a condescending and quite insulting attitude..." (with the added bonus of passive/aggressive phrasing)

Am I the only one? Your or You're!

Not at all, but I don't reckon there's anyone who can't improve by putting in some extra effort. If I was aware I had problems spelling, I'd be far more likely to use a spell checker, for a start - I know that doesn't catch correct words used incorrectly but it's better than nothing. The...

Am I the only one? Your or You're!

Using more than one exclamation mark in a row. That one really chaps my crack. :P Also, people who make an ellipsis with as many dots as they like. So you're saying that being unable to spell is some kind of expression of individuality that should be embraced? I'm by no means a spelling...

How does this photoghrapher make skin gothic white, vivid and like porcelain?

I would think that that is mainly in the makeup, then a bit of work with curves just to give the skin that little extra push. Looking at it, it just doesn't come across as being very PP'd to me.

A slip of the hand...a sickening *crunch*

I still weep a little when I remember the day I dropped my 50mm f/1.4 while changing lenses. Onto concrete. Buggered, it was.
