After my last unsuccessful trip to Brands Hatch due to the amount of fencing that is now there, I'm looking into some form of step ladder.
Those of you that use one, what do you use or recommend?
I'm looking at more of a platform type that is 500mm high with the platform dimensions of 600mm x...
My god, talk about photographer unfriendly.
Think I'm going to have to invest in a set of steps, you can't go anywhere for a decent shot. Fences are far too high.
Thanks for the heads up, seen all the others.
I just wish they mixed it up a bit, like having landscape one week, then wildlife the next, transport the next and so on.
Or is just me that thinks that?
That's great, thank you very much for your reply.
I will be taking full frame and cropped but decide what to use depending on the weather when I get there.
I'm heading to Brands Hatch for both days this weekend for the Historic Masters.
They will be using the GP layout which I've never been round before and I was wondering if there is any spots where you can use a 500mm prime?
Or shall in just stick with the 100-400 for convenience?
Many thanks
Cheers guys for your advice.
I won't get my hopes up too much for this season anyway, as a wildlife photographer I might be terrible at it.
I will see how it goes and may look in it for next season that's if I'm still with the team.
Thanks for your input.
If I can find a track that I can use the 500mm at, then I will take it but it will take visiting the circuit before hand or one ive been to before to find out.
Yes, kit is definitely insured, as for trackside I'm not sure.
I'm insured with Eversure who do cover PLI.
