That would depend on Lens for Hire also getting one in time…. I have a 16/85 so short end isn’t a concern.

Considering renting the 500mm F4 PF , is that a good choice or could I run to a 300 PF and use tc’s?

In reality, what glass will work for action shots? Have a 70/200 2.8 plus 1.4 and 2.0 tc’s. Happy to rent if required.

Not been using my camera enough lately to justify paying nigh on £12 a month. Only use LR and nothing else. If I cancel the DD, what happens ? I believe the developement function of LR stops, but the catalog remains intact. If I decide to reinstate the DD or similar, whats the score...

Big fast Primes are great to use, BUT you need to use them often, otherwise, you have a big lump of cash sat idle in the cupboard, so I would imagine a lot get sold when folk realise that £5k could be put to better use than parked under the stairs....

Yes Fi - try a wanted post on here - think I paid £525 and sold for the same..... I was keen to try the length as I had my eye on the 300 F4 pf which is a mega bit of glass.....

Fi, if you want to try a 70-200 2.8 and or TC, let me know, happy to meet up and let you have a try. Would need a monopod for yourself I think. Also, the 300 F4 is a pretty light lens as it doesnt need a load of elements.....probs not much different to the 70-300 if Im honest.
