I think the sony camera(s) are offering a lot more in terms of DR and resolution, along with built-in IS. If I was starting over again, i'd choose the sony ones, but the issue is giving up glass and flash I currently have and not knowing how far i'll get in selling my current stuff and buying...

Hi there. the announced lenses to be sold as kits are both the f4 versions, so the 24-70mm IS is an f4 and the 24-105 IS is also f4. It's the f4 L version I have currently which I refer to now as the mk 1 :) so based on it being an l lens, will the updated version offer 'much' more quality...

Hi - I took the plunge last night anyway - the upgrade price of £59 was reasonable enough. Not had a chance to see anything (apart from the MAP page) that looks different to 3 - guess it's all under the bonnet (hood).

clarity exists in 3.6 (along with hue and saturation). the highlights (low, mid high) tones are also there, but I was watching the video earlier about removing ISO noise when pushing the exposure...it's not something I'd seen before and would be of use..
