You could try Exeter for your stop over between port Issac and Lyme Regis. Exeter has a lovely Cathedral and quay area. Or Exmouth. There is a new premier inn in Exmouth right on the seafront. the beach is used for kitesurfing, so could be some photo oportunities.

I like the sling bags, easy to access the camera without having to out the bag down. The Lowepro transit Sling 250 is perfect for my 6D with 24-105 lens. The internal layout can be changed to accommodate the camera with a larger lens.

Arh yes, but it can't be anywhere near the quality of the canon, its under half the price. its not a pro series lens is it.? I take it the ones with the gold band are the pro lenses. having said that if its any good, I might be able to afford it at some stage.
