Hi all,
Its been a good few years since I sold my beloved D300 and got swept away from the hobby due to other life commitments. 2015 to be exact!
First of all, I see there is no longer a classified section??
Now.. my daughter is wanting to get into photography.. she’s 11 and loves bugs so...
Im not really bothered about loosing the extra zoom as I always find myself at the widest end 99% of the time. And I also find the 105 isnt really long enough to take any detailed shots of birds etc so i will invest in a decent zoom when I get the spare cash.
Think I'l take your word for it...
Used a++ condition.
The question really should have been 'will it perform as well as my kit lens' As apart from low light situations i never had an issue with the 18-105
Bit skint at the minute, just spotted it for a steal and thought it was too good to be true. Was going to stick a few quid on top of my kit lens for it.
Hi all,
Just upgraded to a D7000 and looking to swap my 18-105 kit lens for something a bit faster.
I have my 35mm 1.8 which I love but I could do with something a bit wider and a decent range for a walkabout lens.
Iv been looking at the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 EX DC at £119 which looks a bargain...
Im tempted by the d7000 ya know.. Just wondering as I only make use of the af on the d300 a couple of times a month if I would benefit from the newer/cheaper tech and I would have a bit left over for a better quality lens
Is the af on the d7000 really that bad
Iv kind of fell out of love with my D300. Mainly due to the crap low light capabilities/noise. Although I do love the build!
Before I bought my D300 I was torn between it and a D90 and thinking back I should have gone with the latter.
Im looking at the old 'd300 vs '"""" ' threads and can't...
Got a mint D200 today of 'toxic' on here till I can afford a D300 next year.
Build is awesome and love all the external controls. Been out on garden with my 35mm 1.8 wide open shooting at 800iso and its ace even in poor light!!
Well..... :shake:
Just my luck, both the D90 and D7000 are out of stock at Jessops and no one has a clue when they will be back in stock with china or wherever being underwater. Wanted to buy from there as they are currently doing 6month interested free :(
What a joke...
Might just get a used...
Anyone experienced the buffer lagging when in burst mode? I read it can take anything up to 10secs!
Obviously this would be sped up with a faster SD but is it still an issue to you guys?
