Drone Timelapse of Vietnam X-Champs Event.

I have not posted in here for a while and have been fairly busy with work in S.E. Asia but I would like to share our most recent edit. Drone timelapse footage from the Vietnam leg of the KTA - Kiteboard Tour Asia held in February shows just what goes into a twin tip race and X-Champs competition...

London showreel - My new timelapse film

' a great TL film, great choice of shots and overall good flow. The only thing I would comment on is the adding in post of movement. Although this is a great tool to add continuous movement to a stationary shot it needs to be done with care. Going out on a limb I'm guessing you added this in...

    Flights to Vietnam ...

I live in Mui ne which is about 5 hrs from HCMC in the South. I don't often fly home but when I do its always via Bangkok and usually with Air Asia and then the cheapest long haul carrier I can get. Vietnam is an amazing country and will give you no end of opportunities to break out the camera...

9 to 5 in Vietnam (kitesurfing)

I have been living in Vietnam for the past 5 years now and still am amazed at the diversity and different landscapes, willingness and attitudes Vietnamese people have. Point a camera in their direction and 9 times out of ten you will get a radiant smile. I work as a photographer and videographer...

    One Beautiful Day in Vietnam.

Hey there, haven't posted in a long while for a number of reasons but have finally edited a project I started a while ago, hope you enjoy it. Vietnam has it all, the chaos of huge cities co-existing alongside quietness and calming tranquility. Majestic Mountains plunging down to fertile...

Elena-Shumilova, photography of her children on their farm.

Im not all that up to date with different PP methods and workflows but my understanding of it is that PP work merely enhances, in some cases drastically what was already captured in the original shot. Are you saying that this lighting was somehow created in PP software?

    Bend over Getty.

Good to see that there is some redress for artists whose work is blatantly stolen with the poor excuse of "Oh, we didn't know". Shame on you Getty, hopefully other agencies, newspapers and companies will take note and change their ways but a little part of me feels all warm and fuzzy hearing...

Amazing photography and manipulation skills by a 14 year old.

Not sure if this has been posted before but some great work by 14 year old Zev. Good to see some creative and refreshing young people coming through to carry the torch forward. http://www.demilked.com/surreal-self-portraits-14-year-old-fiddle-oak/

    A very emotional photo story.

Photographer Angelo Merendino photographs his girlfriends struggle with cancer. A truly heart wrenching photo essay that must of been so hard to shoot and put together. http://themetapicture.com/probably-the-most-beautiful-thing-ever-captured/

    Conflict Photography Workshop

Thanks for the two links, spent sometime having a look around them and found Martin Middlebrook's blog especially informative and humorous at the same time, although I only read the first ten postings. Don't get me wrong, Im not about to hit the local px store here in Saigon, (and there is some...
