    At the longer end I have my Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6, not much faster but more reach on it. Although IQ will not be any better :)

    Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 I have a budget of £100 to replace my D50 kit lens (18-55), does this get the thumbs up? (I have 70-300mm and nifty fifty also, but could really use a 'do-everything' lens)

    Finally got my gear. Big white brolly and stand, with a vivitar flash and a nifty. (no ebay triggers yet, 'still in the post...'). I was reading somewhere that ideally the flash should be pointed to the center of the brolly. Vivitar sits pretty high on the clamp, a good 8 inches+ higher...

    Would either of these do the trick? Jessops 300AFD Jessops 300D Not too sure about guide ratings etc, but I want to get in to strobist stuff and dont fancy having to upgrade to a (more expensive) flash anytime soon.
