Stevedeer - I loved those wedding shots and I bet the Bride & Groom did too - a case of forget about the gear and just go for it. 'Pictures' that told the whole story.

Just been on the Canon website and it describes DPP as being editing software for Canon EOS SLRs - do you think this might mean that it's not supposed to work with G9s? I've got a demo version of Lightroom 2 loaded and that recognises them straight away? Thanks.

Hi, I'm trying to download some RAW shots from my G9 - connect the camera to the Mac and they seem to download fine - can see them in Picture Editor all ok, but when I open DPP, the files are there but no image - just gray and 'X'd out? Any help appreciated - thanks Gray :help:

Sorry for the dumb question, but it said earlier in the thread that if you sharpen in DPP, it's not saved when you export to jpeg (for printing I assume) - am I just being thick or does that kinda defeat the object of using DPP? Thanks.

Hi - As relative newcomer, could someone help explain why there seems to be so much discussion around 'hope I get a good one' when it comes to talking about new lenses? I see lots of talk here around Sigma issues and various other brands - I just would have thought in this day and age...
