dedicated video cam. this DSLR Thing is redic for normal people. I use an XA20 along with DSLR for videos. Its a bit pricey, but i suggest getting a prosumer camera. it will last just as long as your camera would. and if you will use it alot, the better quality is worth it. suggest a GH30...

the x-t1 will replace almost any camera...unless you are having certain requirements for said camera. fast action, large printing are the two that i would be wary about

No. all have varying EVF. the Xpro1 EVF is junk IMO compared to the other Fuji lineup. Correct on the evf quality Who knows? We wont until fuji drops it. I wasnt a fan of the hybrid viewfinder personally

i already replaced my 7d and host of L lenses with an Xe-1. The X-T1 just makes it that much of a better choice.

It was for me. and even more so now that the AF is spot on (supposedly) ive been going back to the old days when i learned on film for motorsports with the xe-1. Manual focus on a point and shoot that point as i pan. it isnt as great as the 1dmk3 or 7d i sold. but im super happy with my choice...
