Focus to infinity. Stop your lens down and your ISO until you can get a roughly well exposed image (under expose rather than over) and have your shutter open for roughly 20-30 seconds. Don't forget your tripod. Keep shooting!

I was given one by the BBC. I'd proceeded to sell it on eBay for £96 because I wasn't a film photographer at the time. How I regret that.

Have you said anything to them? i.e. The people who allowed it to be put up? 'Who put it up, etc' Have you called the people who are advertising?
