Hello,
wondering if anyone can help, I have a couple hundred old photos which I want to put onto my PC to create a photobook with. I can't decide the best way to do this, some suggest using a scanner which is fine I can do but the quality isn't all that great and other suggest using a DSLR (...
Thankyou all, much appreciated that would explain a thew things. I will look to get a TTL Flash gun compatible with my camera as im just starting to use flash ( normally i dont use flash )
This may be a stupid question to most on this forum, I purchased a speedlite flash gun about a year ago which had no instructions with it. Can anyone help\advise on how my flash should work? I get the part it either sits on top of your camera or on a external stand, i have been taking photos...
As i said before, going outside wont even be possible. The dancers come to get the photos done then perform after. I wont have time to take them to a near park as its in the middle of a town. I think i can only trial and error and get a new backdrop and lights for this to even work sufficiently.
@TonyHall good idea on the background, just checked today and i think it needs replacing ( its 5 years old!) so i will get another roll. It would be great to get out to a park like you said or even outside, unfortunately that's unlikely going to be possible due to the British wet summer we...
Hi Phil,
Thanks for your advise on the above, i will look into what you stated about creating a black background not achieved this before. One issue i have is the white background is only 2m long some groups will have 15-20 students in the one photo which then give the actual background causing...
Ok i will try and get an original at some point, so the answers to your questions @TonyHall are below.
What problems do you wish to fix? - So the backdrop is a paper role which is 2m long, i cant decide if i should shoot with or without the backdrop for quality as these are sold to the...
Fair point, it's clear to see now its down to how i use the camera i think. I am doing full Portraits but that's a different issue i have, im still learning so your right and thanks very much :)
You may be able to help me out on my other post...
thanks for that, well i wanted to make a career maybe out of photography. Still some way to go yet, its probably more of technique which i have problems with than the camera. I find that the photos i take sometimes don't look very good or the quality is poor, if im honest i know b****r all about...
I have had a Canon Eos 550d camera for about 4-5 years now and wanted to upgrade to the canon Eos 5d, im a bit confused at the moment as i spoke to a Canon store who advised me to not bother???? Some reason i cant understand why they would advise that to me other than so say the 550d has a...
