    Problem with scanned film

My apology for the very late update. So I manage to finish my loaded film, which had traveled across the world just as many times as the 'problematic' roll. Quite surprise to see that there is no such problem with this roll of film. I have also attached few photos of the negative here to show...

    Problem with scanned film

Make sense. Think would just try my luck to ask for hand check the next time.

    Problem with scanned film

Collected my negative and found out that there are the wave marks in between frames as well. I believe that would mostly likely be the culprit now since this particular roll had been scanned a lot of times both through check-in and carry on luggage. Lesson learnt! I tried to ask for hand check...

    Problem with scanned film

Just collected my negative. 1. Yes, they are on the negatives as well. 2. Yes, multiple times. 3. It's Kodak Portra 400. The camera is Canon 7. I think I should quickly finish up the loaded film and check inside the camera.

    Problem with scanned film

Hi, I just received this scanned film from a local lab and found out almost all of the photos have this weird line effect. Has anyone know what's the cause of this? Tried to consult the local lab but they do not have any idea and it is their first time to see such as well. F1230037 by Victor...

    Scotland Scotland Highland

Thanks for the suggestion. Was too busy with moving house the past week and did not have time to continue with the plan. The time is based on from Moor of Rannoch Hotel to Glencoe and it shows that I will need to go all the way back and make a big circle and it confused me. Will 1 hour be...

    Scotland Scotland Highland

Thanks all! I managed to get two more friends with me so now I can arrange my own itinerary. Thanks very much Adrian for the suggestions and they all look awesome to me! And now I have to try to arrange them into my 3d2n trips. May I know where are good places for me to overnight? I am...

    Scotland Scotland Highland

Hi, I know this is quite last minute, but I am actually looking for a photography tour for Scotland Highland during October, and possibly some surrounding areas. I am an overseas student and will be going back soon so want to use this opportunity to explore the magnificent highland. Is there...

    Tromso

I followed Guide Gunnar last year December. Pretty good experience. The tour maximum participation is just about 14 people and he states that the tour is designed for those who wants to take photograph. So basically you can get access to those more remote places as he is driving a van/mini bus...

    Backpack for Sports Photographer

Thanks for the suggestion! Just watched review of it. Quite like it but only downside is I can't access it quickly like the Manfrotto Pro 50. It seems like there are very few backpacks at this size that have some sort of quick access without the need to putting it on a surface to get the camera out

    Tripod max load consideration

Thanks all. I just got myself a 5kg since the main reason of getting another tripod is because my current one is too heavy so will just settle with the lighter.

    Tripod max load consideration

Hi all, I am thinking to get a new CF tripod and the maximum load that the tripod can hold bother me a lot. I am not quite sure whether to go for 5kg max load or 8kg max load. The tripod weight of these 2 is quite significant at almost 0.3-0.4kg difference. Tripods I am now considering are...
