I'm new to macro photography, and I have recently bought a Nikon 40mm DX Macro lens. Would an extension tube benefit this lens? What do the extension tubes do exactly? Advice needed please.

You should always shoot colour, and then if you want black and white you can change in photoshop, with more control on levels. B&W on the camera is very basic. So now your stuck with just a B&W

i know you can upload pics from flickr. but can u just upload from my pictures on the computer?

Before my Nikon lens I used the Tamron 70-300. And I got some fantastic shots with it. The macro is not true macro but you can get some good close ups. The only thing I found annoying is that it has no VR (Vibration resistance) so you need to have the speed quite high to keep it sharp. But that...

Looking to purchase my first Flashgun. Looking at the SB-700. Is this a good choice. I know there is a SB-900 but that is a bit too much for me at the moment.

I think I would go for a Nikon. I think you can get them with the mechanisms so it works with the auto focus?

Would love to get into more bird photography but I find I just can't get close enough for a well detailed shot. I have a 55-300 lens but I feel I need an extra 200 on top. I can't afford a bigger lens so I was looking at getting a converter. Are they any good? What would you recommend.
