I'm new to macro photography, and I have recently bought a Nikon 40mm DX Macro lens. Would an extension tube benefit this lens? What do the extension tubes do exactly? Advice needed please.
You should always shoot colour, and then if you want black and white you can change in photoshop, with more control on levels. B&W on the camera is very basic. So now your stuck with just a B&W

Looking to purchase my first Flashgun. Looking at the SB-700.
Is this a good choice. I know there is a SB-900 but that is a bit too much for me at the moment.
Would love to get into more bird photography but I find I just can't get close enough for a well detailed shot. I have a 55-300 lens but I feel I need an extra 200 on top. I can't afford a bigger lens so I was looking at getting a converter. Are they any good? What would you recommend.
