    Beginner Macro photography lighting.

Thanks everyone, that's given me a few options to look at and plenty to read up on! I stumbled across this on eBay, has anyone got any experience with the brand or even better this particular kit. It seems an awful lot of kit for not a lot of money! http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/192002709902?_mwBanner=1

    Beginner Macro photography lighting.

Hi all, apologies if this isn't in the right section. I'd like to try my hand at macro. Primarily insects and bugs, in their natural setting. I've just bought myself an entry level Nikon body and a sigma 105 macro lens which should be adequate for now. As for lighting I'm at a loss as to where...

    ''A story about love''

I stumbled across this today - I'm sure many of you will have already seen it, but I just had to share it with you all. I hope it's okay to post a link to another website? http://www.boredpanda.com/father-daughter-recreate-wedding-pictures-ben-nunery-melanie-tracy-pace/

Recommend me a useful piece of kit (£50)

I'd say go for the 50mm 1.8 too. I had always used zoom lenses until a few months ago, I didn't really see the point in primes as I already had zooms that covered all of the range I needed. However, I saw a cheap 1.7 50mm prime on ebay and snapped it up. I haven't had another lens on my camera...

The Football Thread - Season 2013/2014 & World Cup

How about Rafael? He's been brilliant this season. And Giggs? Other than those two though, yeah I agree, pretty dire lol

    A new forum - yippee..

First impressions are great! I'm not too sure about the 'like' button though. I just hope people don't use it as an alternative to posting, especially in the critique sections. EDIT: Also, how come everyone's avatars are blurry? Do they need to be changed to a specific size?

    Lightning?

Typical eh? I couldn't drag myself away from the window to go and get the camera :bonk:

    Lightning?

Thanks for all the replies, some cracking shots too! Now I just need another storm  Did anybody else have a storm near them last night? It was incredible, at one point there was flashes of lightning at least every 5 seconds or so, never seen anything like it before!

    Lightning?

We just had the craziest storm i've ever seen, and it got me thinking - How exactly would I go about capturing some lightning shots? I'm guessing a tripod, slow shutter speed and a lot of luck?

this site is not easy to use

I don't bother subscribing to threads, as to be honest, I rarely check my emails. If I want to find a thread i've made/commented on, I click on my username in the top right hand corner, click on the 'statistics' tab, then click on either ''Find all posts by goodwin1234'' or ''Find all...

    Tips on photographing foxes?

I was having a wonder around with the camera today when I stumbled upon a fox, clearly he saw me long before he saw me because he darted into a bush and that was that  I was hoping to go and try and photograph him if possible, there's definitely plenty of foxes around that area as there...
