    Best shows on Prime/Netflix?

I enjoyed watching Lockwood & Co. on Netfix. A young cast but they did a great job. It's a supernatural series and well written in my opinion. :)

Affinity Photo - V1 vs V2. Worth it?

I still use Windows 7 for use with Affinity Photo v1. v2 needs Windows 10 minimum so I won't be upgrading. I use Linux Mint for some other stuff.

Does anyone go to the pub anymore?

We go to our local Wetherspoons once a week, sometimes twice. We generally go on one of the quieter nights such as a Wednesday when it's not full of youngsters. Other pubs have become too expensive for us these days. I can also use my 50p off a pint Camra vouchers in 'spoons.:)

    Beards

I've had a moustache for many years but a couple of months ago after getting an itchy shaving rash, I started growing a beard. The last time I had one was when I was around 30 years old. It's mostly grey now and I keep it fairly short which I like. I got myself a beard trimmer to keep it even...

Olympus OM2n. I still have it but it's many years since I last used it.

    Affinity Photo 2.0. 9th November?

My other computer runs Linux Mint. No support for Linux either. :(

    Affinity Photo 2.0. 9th November?

No Windows 7 support on v2. I still use a W7 machine with a GTX-1070 for photo-editing so it looks I will be staying with v1. I have the Affinity Photo, Designer and Publisher packages on that.

    Amazon Prime increase

I had a hunch it would be going up. I do use Amazon quite a bit and have watched a few shows on Prime so will keep it going. They keep on nagging me to change to Business Prime but you don't get Prime shows with that.

    Speed Limits

I used to ride motorbikes and never knew the phrase SMIDSY until I saw it competing on Robot Wars.

    Saving the planet?

I have an old 4x4 but it hardly gets used these days. It must be quite green by now. I trod in some soot the the other day. I now have a carbon footprint! :)

    Video Editor.

I'm using CyberLink PowerDirector 19. That runs on Windows 7. I got it as a standalone version as I don't like the subscription model. The latest is version 20 and it looks like it still runs on Windows 7 64 bit.

    First camera choice

Welcome. The Nikon coolpix b500 looks like a good camera to get you started. It has a 40x zoom so gives you a lot better options than a phone camera. Try out the various functions on it to see how you get on.

A Legend, (if a little scary).

A few years ago, my dad (who is now 99 years old!) got his ladders out and did some work on his roof. On earlier occasions I remember him 'walking' the ladder along the side of his house so he could reach further along.
