Well the only downside about the 1ds2 id that its abit heavy, no video and also that it dont have live view. I think i'm going to stick to my 1ds2 untill i can afford the 1ds3 or 5d3. thank you for your advice and help.

have you had a look at the manfrotto 058b? I've got one and I absolutely Love it. the only down side to it thats its quite heavy.

What about the 16-35mm? have you considered that?
