As above the Lowepro Toploader 55AW works for me. I have the same, gripped 500d and 100-400, and it does fit. Its a bit tight with the grip, but does go. I like it, well padded, no frills case, Cheap on amazon as well.

Another vote for the sigma 30mm 1.4, I've got one and love it, very sharp, good field of view, great in low light. Get one!

Hello, I have recently bought a used (supposedly fully working) Jessops 360AFDC and connected it to my Canon 500d, the flash is a canon version. The ETTL light on the flash doesn't come on, and the flash does not zoom with the lens. Is this normal? I've gone through the instructions but they...

The shutter button doesn't focus when in live view. You need to press the star looking '*' button to focus i think if its the same as my 500d. or manual focus....

I agree, everyone should get one of these as there first purchase, its a bargain price and makes a superb portrait lens on a crop sensor......

I got a Giottos MT9340B, and its really good. Compact, lightweight, nicely designed..... £87.95 worth a look. They also do a nice ball head to go with it as well. Theres also a cheaper version for about £75 thats doesn't have the angle arm i think..:thumbs...

I'd definately want an exchange, to me if its new it should be in a sealed box.....
