    Sorry about that I didnt realise. What focal length do you think would work in such a space? I am also looking at the Sigma 17/70 mm 2.8 but worried that wont be fast enough for low light. Its looking like I will need to get a dedicated wide prime.

    The shutter compared to my Fuji x100 its well loud so for candid or street portraits from 5 foot its not going to be very stealthy.

    I know different people use what they like but do you think for the street it will be a bit noisy and at 50mm on a crop a bit tight? For me the 35mm 1.8 seemed good. Just my thoughts.

    I want to photograph models indoors in natural light laying on a bed for example. I will be using a D7100 and wondered what lens would be good in low light other than the 35mm 1/8 I prefer primes.

    Sounds like its the D7100 then. I liked the feel of the focusing on it too compared to the the D7000. Feels massive in the hand compared to the Fuji X100 I've been using but I 'am sure I will get use to it. Many thanks guys.
