Just had a look at the site map it's the Rufford Hide that you want.

Try Mere Sands Wood near to Martin Mere. One of the hides at the far end is a good place to see them.

Brother in law is doing a bit of reporting on the local match fishing scene for a well known angling magazine. He has been asked if he could provide photos of the winners and contestants so needs a camera to fit the bill. He's not into photography so needs something simple to use and i know...

Have you tried cleaning the contacts. Mine stopped focusing mid session a while ago. No noise from it though. Once back home cleaned all contacts on lens and body and hey presto started focusing again. Not Had a problem since.

You won't be disappointed. Had one for a few years and its very sharp even wide open. It's also fast enough focusing on the body's motor for what I need. Takes the Kenko 1.4 TC for extra reach but doesn't show in exif. Don't think it will take the Nikon TC's. Overall it's a belting lens for less...

They certainly did. I used to live about 400 yards from them and spent lots of time in the fishing section in my youth, and as has been said went downhill fast and shut down.

Can't argue with that Martyn 200-400 is a cracking lens but doing wildlife I always yearn for more reach but the 500f4 is out of my reach at the moment.
