Covered Cardiff v Wolves yesterday and it absolutely emptied down. Got water in my viewfinder on my 1D MK 3. Trying to dry it out as we speak but not too hopeful. Anybody got any good ideas??? Anybody had it repaired at Fixation, lehmanns etc?

Yeah I'm gonna give fixation a ring this morning. I bought the lens from them so I'm hoping they can help.

A new lens is £500 so I'm trying to find another way. Ha.

I used my 400mm yesterday. As I took off the hood to put it away the bottom part of the silver tightener on top has fell off the screw. Does anyone know if you can get this repaired??? Anyone else had the same problem??

The Lexar USB 3 Card reader on Amazon has some bad reviews with a MacBook Pro but not sure if its an older version of software.

I'm looking for the most reliable card reader for my MacBook Pro. Looked on Amazon at various ones and getting some mixed reviews. Was looking at the Lexar Professional 500mb dual card reader. Any help would be appreciated.

Canon 1D Mkiv Peter. Was an awful night with howling winds and pouring down. They're not too bad but just wanted to know how I could get rid of the noise thats on them. It was the first time I had shot under floodlights and they werent the best. ;)
