Circular Polarizers - Which one to buy?

So, as i'm slowly getting more time to get back out and shoot some landscape stuff, I am finding I never use my old cokin filter system but instead do exposure blending, I feel this works well for me and gets me good results. However, the polarizer I had was also the cokin one which fitted in...

Canon 17-55 is, was this a bad copy?

Hi, your right, but link i posted shows a post where someone also suggests a 17-55 and refers to it being the quality of L glass. Yes its quite clear that in the comparisons, the tamron comes across significantly sharpr, even in the corners at all ranges, i dont quite get it. Andy

Canon 17-55 is, was this a bad copy?

I feel ive just made a bit of a mistake, or was the reviewers copy a bad one. Ive just sold my tamron 17-50 NON vc as ive had it a while and felt i wanted to upgrade somewhat. I purchased that based on the reviews and know its sharp but from my experience it is definitely not to good on the...

    Quadcopters?

This is also now legal, regulated but legal. Main restrictions are height (below 400ft ), always needs to be line if sight and 'spotter' is always needed. Andy

    Quadcopters?

I'm another one that built and developed a quadcopter for aerial photography/videography. Being a long time rc heli and plane flyer building and flying one was easy and to integrate into my photography was an obvious interest to me, not to mention the potential market over telescopic mast...

Hi all, i do apologise for how many times this has no doubtly been asked but i did a search and didnt come out with a complete answer so thought i would ask. My partner is a ref for local weekend football games, mostly under 14's/15s and then a "open-age" womens and it keeps popping up about...

    Canon 17-35mm F2.8 L Used Price/Quality?

Hi, just wondering as i have an opportunity to hand how much you guys think a (old i think) 17-35mm f2.8 L lens should be, its not been used for 5 years, was serviced by canon 2 years ago and has some scruffs on the casing. Optics and functionality fully A ok. Also, might sound daft, but ive...
